Conventional photocatalyst enables its function sufficiently only in the daytime when sunlight is present, but its decomposesition ability dropped rapidly at night.
Room act shows a several-fold decomposing power against artificial lights such as fluorescent lamps, and also the decomposition performance against ultraviolet rays has been enhanced.

It uses "apatite coated with titanium dioxide" which is a material that is harmless to the human body,and is safe even if it adheres to small children, pets, food, etc.

The apatite coating serves as a cushion and protects the substrate from damage due to high decomposition ability of titanium dioxide.

Apatite is also known as calcium phosphate that is the material constituting the teeth and bones.

Treatment process Ex. Office having an area of 100 square meters

Treatment time Approximately 4~6.5 hours
Moving furniture [10~20 minutes] In case some furniture need to be moved, our service staff will handle it.
Curing [20~30 minutes] We will cure the places where will not be treated so that the coating agent can be applied to the designated area only.
Wipe-cleaning [10~20 minutes] We will remove dust and clean the area to be treated with alcohol, and it will be dried afterwards.
Coating [1~2 hours] We will apply Room Act by using the dedicated spray gun for photocatalyst.

Drying [2~3 hours] Room Act will be fixed by drying,
Putting back furniture / Completion [10~20 minutes] We will put back furniture if any has been moved. The work will be completed after drying has been finished.

We will issue the certificate and the sticker to you after treatment has been done.

This certificate has the purpose of visualizing the service and verifying the proper treatment for the customers who have utilized our product and service and also for those who use the facilities where the treatment have been performed.

Avian influenza
Avian influenza virus and 0.9ml of 1% Room Act PBS are mixed by using a rotator. Taking a sample after 0,5,15, and 30 minutes with a unidirectional centrifugation at 10,000RPM, the virus amount of the supernatant is measured.
As a result, approximately 290,000 viruses have been inactivated in 30 minutes among approximately 300,000 viruses.

Feline calicivirus* suspension is added to Room Act and mixed well. This liquid mixture is used as a working solution and is performed at room temperature. The infectivity titer in the working solution is measured after 30 minutes and 6 hours.
Viruses hardly have been detected in 30 minutes.

The antiviral property test of a specimen is performed by JIS R 1756:2013 "Antiviral testing method for visible light responsive photocatalyst material (fine ceramics) using bacteriophage Qβ."
No bacteriophage have been detected on the test specimen in 4 hours.

Legionella pneumophila
When 10g of photocatalyst is dissolved in 10L of cooling water of the cooling tower, 1,400 legionella bacteria confirmed at the beginning have been annihilated, and it has suppressed the generation of algae which are the breeding media of legionella bacteria.
