We have succeeded in developing a multi-structured coating that overturns the common practice by combination of the coating technology developed according to the requirements of domestic and overseas customers. Conventionally, the work was performed two times or three times, but PLANUS CERAMIC COAT has succeeded in simultaneously forming a ceramic film, a glass-hardened film, and a multiple fluorine film in one time work.
PLANUS CERAMIC COAT achieves unprecedented performance. We have realized an ideal coating that combines all the coating performance required now.

  • High hardness film
    A triple structure glass film is formed by a unique special manufacturing method. High quality polysilazane + high concentration siloxane + fluorine forms a strong and flexible high-hardness film.

    Microfiber cloth was attached to the surface property measuring device and each coated plate was rubbed 2000 times.
    PLANUS CERAMIC COAT wasstrong against physical action and was excellent in scratch resistance.

    Selected carefully high quality low molecular weight siloxane firmly fills in the unevenness of the coating surface to achieve a high leveling effect. While maintaining the original beauty of coating, we achieve the best finish with high-thickness elegant gloss and high water repellent that flows down.

    High durability Best durability* We adopt high quality glass component carefully selected. In order to further improve adhesion performance, high durability is achieved through new technology by hybridization of high quality polysilazane + siloxane glass components+ 3 types of composite fluorine.

    Accelerated weathering test


    Irradiates the light of the xenon arc lamp using accelerated weathering tester. The contact angle was measured every 150 hours.

    Washability test


    Using a surface property tester, the process of washing with CAR SHAMPOO was repeated 480 times, and the transition of the contact angle/ sliding angle was measured.
    *A higher contact angle indicates a higher water repellency, while a lower fall angle indicates a higher water slipping property.

  • Antifouling property
    TFI technology, which combines three types of fluorine in the topcoat in steric linkage, forms a special film that protects the body from all types of external stains to maximize its effectiveness.

Transparency change

UV rays were irradiated for 36 hours (equivalent to one week of sunlight) in a accelerated lightness test, and the permeability of 660 nm was measured with a UV spectrometer.
No reduction in transparency due to PLAN US CERAMIC COAT was observed.

About water repellency

UV rays were irradiated in a accelerated lightness test, and the contact angle and sliding angle before and after the test are measured.
[By evaluation, the contact angle was 2.5 μland the sliding angle was 50 μl of water droplets.]

About water repellency

The work of the PLAN US CERAMIC COAT increased the water repellency performance of the protection film. Two times coating is more effective than one time coating.

Observation of surface by SEM

There were no scratches on the film surface due to work, nor any changes in condition that could be caused by solvents damage(Take pictures 24 hours after work)
