Special modified silane compound realizes an amazing contact angle of 110°.
It has the same surface structure as PTFE (Teflon), creating a higher water repellency than a conventional silicone oil -type water repellent. In addition, the silicon bond with a three-dimensional skeleton binds strongly with the glass surface, and has 4 to 5 times more durable than conventional oil-based water repellants. The film is not washed off with surfactants or alcohol, and the water-repellent effect does not decrease even if a washer fluid or car shampoo is used.
